The toolkit your RTO never handed you.
Placements that match you
Set your qualification, availability, and travel radius. Plcmnt ranks every eligible placement by fit and distance — so you see the ones that actually work for your schedule. No scrolling through facilities that don't take Cert III students or require shifts you can't make.
Your document vault. Sorted.
Upload your police check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, immunisation records, CPR certificate, Working with Children Check, and more. Our AI reads expiry dates so you don't have to. Renewal reminders land in your inbox before anything lapses.
Clock in. Clock out. Done.
Log your placement hours from your phone with GPS-stamped entries. Your supervisor approves digitally — no paper timesheets, no lost signatures. Your running total stays visible so you always know how many hours you've banked.
Daily journals that work how you work
Write quick text entries or record voice notes — transcribed instantly by Whisper AI. Reflect on what you learned. Your RTO gets structured evidence of your learning without you having to type essays after a 7-hour shift.
Competency sign-offs without the clipboard
Your supervisor signs off on units of competency — CHCAGE011, CHCCCS041, CHCDIV001 — directly through structured forms in the app. Track what's done, what's in progress, and what still needs evidence.
A portfolio that sells you
At the end of placement, export your portfolio as a polished PDF — hours summary, competency matrix, supervisor endorsements. Hand it to employers or attach it to graduation evidence.
Six steps. Zero clipboards.
The compliance stuff that usually derails you? It's handled.
Every student knows the panic. Placement starts Monday and you can't find your police check. Your CPR certificate expired three weeks ago. Plcmnt was built to make this the part you don't stress about.
Questions students actually ask.
What does it cost to use Plcmnt as a student?
Students use Plcmnt to create a profile, search placements, manage documents, and log hours. If you book a paid placement, the fee goes primarily to the host facility. Your profile and compliance tools are included.
What if I can't find a placement near me?
Plcmnt is growing its facility network across Australia. If nothing matches your area right now, save your profile and we'll alert you when a suitable facility becomes available within your travel radius. Your document vault stays active in the meantime.
Do I need my RTO to be on Plcmnt?
No. You can create an account, search placements, and book directly with facilities that are willing to take you. If your RTO is on Plcmnt, they can also manage approvals, sign-offs, and compliance through the platform — but you don't need to wait for them to get started.
What qualifications does Plcmnt support?
All major vocational care qualifications: CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support, CHC43021 Certificate IV in Ageing Support, CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services, and HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing. If yours isn't listed, let us know.
How does the document vault know when my certificates expire?
When you upload a document, our AI scans it to extract the issue date, expiry date, and certificate type. We apply the correct expiry rules for your state and document type. You get email and in-app reminders 30 days before anything lapses.
What's the difference between a police check and an NDIS screening?
A National Police Certificate is a point-in-time criminal history check. An NDIS Worker Screening Check is an ongoing assessment that monitors your eligibility to work with NDIS participants and includes a police check component. You likely need both, and they expire on different timelines. Plcmnt tracks each separately.
