Answers to common questions about using Plcmnt.

How do I find a placement?

Go to the search page, set your filters — location, qualification, placement type — and browse available opportunities. Apply directly from the listing. Facilities review your application and may invite you to interview.

How does payment work?

Payment must be made online through the portal for every placement prior to confirmation. Once you pay, your placement is confirmed. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. No invoicing. No deferred payments.

What if my placement is cancelled?

If a facility cancels before the placement starts, you receive a full refund. If you need to cancel, refer to the facility's cancellation policy displayed on the placement listing before you book.

How do I log hours?

Open your placement in the app and tap Clock In when you arrive. Tap Clock Out when you leave. Your entry is GPS-stamped and sent to your supervisor for approval. You can view your total hours at any time.

How do supervisors sign off?

Supervisors receive a notification when you submit hours or need a competency assessment. They approve or request revision from their dashboard. Sign-offs are digitally time-stamped and stored in your record.

What documents do I need?

Requirements vary by facility. Common documents include: National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, immunisation records, CPR certificate (HLTAID009), and First Aid (HLTAID011). Check your placement's requirements page.

How do I update my profile?

Go to your profile page to update your name, phone number, address, and qualification details.

How do I contact support?

How do I delete my account?

Go to your profile settings and select Delete account. Your personal information will be anonymised while placement records are retained for compliance purposes.

Are my documents stored securely?

Documents are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We never share your documents without consent.
